In 1984, owner Dan Tourville opened Highway 160 Import Salvage, Inc. in Nixa Missouri. Our first location in north Nixa met the needs of a growing segment of foreign vehicle owners in the Springfield metro area. In 1989 we moved to our current location 3 miles south of Nixa on US Highway 160. We remained a foreign vehicle specialty yard until 1998 when Dan and manager Jason Tourville changed the business name to Highway 160 Auto Recycling and began dismantling both domestic and foreign vehicles to meet the needs of our growing customer base.
The primary focus at Highway 160 Auto Recycling is servicing the auto repair industry with high quality recycled auto parts. We service both the collision repair and mechanical repair fields with equal efficiency. You can depend on our accurate part inventory and on time delivery and shipping options to meet your cycle time requirements. We value our many professional auto repair clients and strive to stay in tune with the ever changing needs of our loyal customers.
Our sales and support staff have the knowledge and experience to accurately fill customer orders every time. This is accomplished from our vast onsite inventory and from parts acquired from other trusted vendors.

I normally don’t write reviews, but these guys were amazing to deal with. Honest, respectable people. I’ve been without my Subaru for a year now, and they gave me an engine so complete it took an hour and a half to install and have the car running again, as well as sending me home with some of my old parts JUST IN CASE I needed them, they didn’t want me running into any issues along the way. Yes. We provide fast, daily auto parts delivery to automotive businesses, repair shops, and collision centers in Springfield and surrounding towns. Same day delivery is available to most cities within a 70 mile radius of Springfield, MO.
Our parts counter and service department are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We are closed on Weekends, but you can search our used auto parts inventory online 24/7.

Before any used engine enters our inventory, it undergoes a rigorous quality inspection during vehicle dismantling:
- Live Testing: We start and fully inspect every engine while it is still in the vehicle.
- Compression Testing: All gasoline engines receive a compression test to guarantee they meet factory operating specifications.
- Diesel Evaluation: Diesel engines are started and run-tested to ensure smooth, proper operation.
- Fluid Inspection: We drain and carefully analyze the engine oil to check for metal shavings or abnormal internal wear.
